A section of members of the Kenya Union of Post primary Education Teachers has opposed the move by the union officials to call off the teachers strike. The Union members drawn from the counties argue that the move by the National Officials was not consultative, terming it a betrayal of the Kenyan teachers. The officials say following the concession, they fear their demands may never be met.
