A section of Civil Society Groups has dismissed claims of funding in the recent wave of protests that left scores of people dead and property destroyed. Speaking in Nairobi the rights group faulted the government for attributing the Civil Society Groups with the violence in the country. The group however said it will not shy away from its responsibility of promoting accountability and good governance as well as protecting the human rights as enshrined in the constitution.
