A section of the clergy in Kakamega have cautioned the government against re-introducing some clauses of the rejected 2024 finance bill to parliament for reconsideration.Speaking in Kakamega the clergy warned that if the process is not properly thought through and public participation inadequate it is likely to spark nationwide protests. The caution comes amid remarks from a section of government officials that some clauses which are beneficial to the public might be reintroduced.
