A section of Kenyan Youth reacts cautiously to President Ruto's apology

A section of the youth, popularly referred to as Gen Z, who attended the national prayer breakfast in Nairobi, now say that the atrocities committed against them by the state, while highlighting their grievances, should not end with a mere apology. The remarks came after Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi stated that the young people are helpless due to leadership failure, moral decay, and systemic failure, with the speaker of the national assembly, Moses Wetangula, calling for the restoration of the country's spiritual and economic reflection.
