Selection of this year’s Equity Wings to Fly scholarships beneficiaries, is underway in different parts of the country. Teams from equity are going round the country verifying details of applicants, to ascertain that they meet the requirements. The program will see 1,000 comprehensive secondary school scholarships issued to needy KCPE candidates, who scored 350 and above marks. The process of picking the beneficiaries is currently at the verification stage, where members of the community scholarship selection boards, review and scrutinize applications, by carrying out face to face interviews and home visits, before deciding which of the applicants are most deserving.
