A tussle is brewing between the two houses of parliament over the senate oversight fund. The senate leadership-led by majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot is threatening to paralyse the NG-CDF should the National Assembly continue to undermine it. The National Assembly is seeking to have the operationalization of the oversight fund anchored in law. However, the Speaker of the Senate Amoson Kingi has rejected the move to amend the constitution.
