Senators have called for the cancellation of the lease deal of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport between the Adani Business Group and the Kenyan Government on the airport upgrade project. The senators who had summoned Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport Davis Chirchir to shed more light on the controversial deal said the deal was shrouded with mystery raising concerns on the tendering, due diligence processes and the fraud allegations of the Adani business group. As Kamuche Menza reports, CS Chirchir maintained that there is no binding agreement reached yet.
