Senators question rollout of KSh20 billion off-grid project

A government programme meant to bring electricity and clean water to Kenya's most remote communities has come under sharp scrutiny in the Senate Energy Committee. Senators questioned delays, disputed completion dates and the circumstances under which a 20-billion-shilling World Bank loan to fund the programme was approved.
