Seven Kwa Kamari victims laid to rest amid Kitui border tensions

Grief and anguish gripped Tseikuru in Kitui County as seven victims of last week’s brutal attack were laid to rest. Among the dead were two siblings from the same family, killed in the heinous assault on Kwa Kamari village. The attack, linked to suspected pastoralist raiders, sparked a week-long conflict between neighbouring communities. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has assured residents that such an attack will not recur.
