Several journalists from different media houses were injured after they were assaulted by bouncers during a raid by the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse at Kettle House Bar and Grill in Lavington Muthangari. Among those injured are Kenya Broadcasting Corporation’s Camera Person Jane Kibira. A police officer was also injured during the melee. NACADA Head of Reinforcement Nicholas Kosgei has regretted the incident but maintains that they will not intimidated in their fight against alcohol and drug abuse.
