A new management team has taken over at the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI), promising to improve the quality of training and increase the number of learners in technical institutions in the country. Kericho Township Vocational Training College Principal Shadrack Tonui was elected the KATTI national chairman after garnering 111 votes against Elisha Nyamu, who scored 109 votes. Tonui replaces Nyeri National Polytechnic principal Dr David Mwangi, who completed his three-year term.
