Now to the shame of vandalism along the Western Bypass, residents of Wangige, Ndenderu and Karura Kanyungu are appealing to the Kenya National Highways Authority and the Kenya Power and lighting company to reconnect the busy road with street lights which have been off for over six months as a result of vandalism. Kenya power has recorded seven cases of vandalism along the western by-pass with police confirming three arrests in late December.
