Smart Farm: KALRO adopts natural method to fight fall armyworm

Kenyan scientists are now turning to nature in the fight against one of the country's most destructive crop pests — the fall armyworm. Researchers at KALRO are developing biological control methods that reduce reliance on harmful pesticides and chemicals. The scientists say the new approach is safer for farmers, consumers and the environment while also proving effective in protecting maize farms.
