Sports Department Scandal I EACC recovers Shs 5.5 million

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC on Wednesday recovered 5.5 million shillings, Investments worth 597 million Shillings, 13 high end vehicles, 28 landed properties and 37 bank accounts in a scandal that saw the public lose 3.8 billion shillings at the State Department for Sports. The Sleuths arrested 5 suspects including 2 senior officials at the state department and they have since recorded their statement at the integrity center.
