Over 5000 community first responders are set to benefit from a fundraising activity aimed at training and raising awareness on mitigating disasters and natural calamities. The initiative was organised by the St John Ambulance, during an annual walkathon dubbed 'save a life ". The walk which saw scores of participants targets to raise a sum of 15 million shillings to raise funds for the cause. The 5000 participants will benefit from training involving first aid and emergency response to save lives in the event of a tragedy
