National schools football champions st. Joseph Kitale, also known as Jobo have qualified for the semi-finals of the East Africa School Games after beating Agai Secondary School from Nyanza 3-1 in their last pool match today at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County. Jobo were quick to settle and scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute through dangerman Instin Simiyu. But Agai did not panic and drew level on the stroke of half time through Rodgers Onyango for a 1-1 score at half time. Two minutes into the second half, Jobo took the lead once again through Jabal Lugendi. Instin Simiyu again found the back of the net in the second half to seal the win for Jobo. Jobo will take on Musingu in an all-Kenyan semifinal while Agai has been eliminated from the competition.
