Stakeholders call for urgent reforms to revive Kenya’s manufacturing sector

Kenya’s manufacturers are calling for urgent policy reforms to revive the sector, as its contribution to GDP drops to 7.3 percent from 7.8 percent. The Kenya Association of Manufacturers has unveiled the 2026 Manufacturing Priority Agenda, urging government support to boost competitiveness, exports, and job creation.
