Tackling climate change | Ruto urges leaders to walk the talk

President William Ruto has called on the community of nations to begin to seriously address the paradox of loss and damage. Speaking at the 27th Conference of Parties, (COP27) in Sharm Al Sheikh in Egypt, President Ruto said that the impacts of climate change are affecting the African continent more and hence the industrialized North needs to be resolute in implementing measures agreed upon in the Paris Agreement. He said already Kenya has had to redirect resources to cushioning over 4-million people affected by drought and in need of relief food.
