Tanzania opposition accuses police of dumping bodies of slain protesters

Tanzania’s main opposition party, Chadema, has accused police of secretly disposing of the bodies of hundreds of demonstrators allegedly killed during protests that erupted after President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s disputed re-election. The party claimed that over 2,000 people have died in what it described as a state-sanctioned crackdown on dissent.
