Tanzanian Activist Maria Sarungi Reported Abducted By Armed Men In Kenya
Now, yet another foreign national had been kidnapped on Kenyan soil! Maria Sarungi-Tsehai, Tanzania’s media personality as well as a key critic of Samia Suluhu’s government, has been allegedly abducted today Sunday at Chaka area in Kilimani, Nairobi.
The Law Society of Kenya Faith Odhiambo has noted on her X post and I quote “Maria Tsehai has been released and is safe for now. The unfortunate ordeal she has endured paints a worrying picture of the state of our country's human rights context…’’ end of quote.
