Tension remains high in Angata area along the border of Trans Mara West in Narok County after unknown people raided and slashed several acres of maize plantation on a 15,000 acre piece of land on new year’s eve. The residents have condemned the incident which has since been linked to border disputes and deteriorating state of security in the area. Trans Mara South Police Commander Bashir Ali says the incident is under investigation. Serfine Achieng’ Ouma reports.
