Two young Somali women, Fathi Mohamed Abdi and Saadia Ahmed Omar, are redefining what it means to be a female engineer in a city that is rising from the ashes of its violent past. Both were born during the civil war and grew up witnessing their country fragmenting and in ruins. While many Somalis chose to leave the country, they stayed, driven by a passion to rebuild. BBC's Fardowsa Hanshi has just returned from Somalia, where she met them. 🎤 Fardowsa Hanshi 🎥 Anthony Irungu Subscribe: http://bit.ly/subscribetoafrica Website: https://www.bbc.com/africa Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bbcnewsafrica/ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/bbcafrica/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bbcafrica/
