Thousands of street children from different towns in the country were in for a treat and counseling as they marked the International Day for Street Children, which is celebrated annually on April 12th. The day aims to raise awareness of the challenges children face and demand equal rights for them. As Fredrick Parsayo reports the day also recognizes the lives of street children and highlights efforts to respect their rights.
