Timely NCPB Intervention Will Protect Farmers, Simiyu Tells Gov’t

Cherang’any Member of Parliament Patrick Simiyu has urged the government to open National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) stores on time as farmers in the region continue harvesting maize. He warned that delays in opening the stores would expose farmers to exploitation by middlemen who buy maize at throwaway prices.
