Tononoka Secondary School principal succumbs to Covid

  • | Daily Nation Video Tononoka Secondary School principal has succumbed to Covid-19 at the Coast General Hospital in Mombasa. Mr Mohammed Khamis died at the hospital where he had been admitted for the last two weeks when he tested positive for the virus. The school deputy principal Benjamin Nzaro confirmed Mr Khamis’s death on Monday. Mr Khamis was reported to have been confirmed positive in the first week when schools were re-opened. The school was closed after other staff members also tested positive for Covid-19. Teachers and students were reported to have contracted the deadly virus forcing learning to be suspended at the institution.
