The government is pledging that tough measures will be undertaken to tame insecurity in the volatile area of Baringo. While attending a church service in Baringo county, President William Ruto hailed Kenyans for an election which he says eradicated the vice of tribalism to hand him victory. Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua defended the DPP's move to withdraw cases levelled against him while still calling for the withdrawal of any politically instigated cases before courts.
