Popular car boot traders along the northern bypass in nairobi have been evicted. A contingent of police officers accompanied Nairobi city county officials to remove the traders who have mostly been selling fresh produce in the area. The traders protested the move to evict them insisting they have been operating under the ministry of health guidelines on curbing the spread of covid-19. Most of the traders also said they resorted to car boot sales after losing jobs due to the ongoing pandemic.
