Tunga Nutrition has unveiled a new high-capacity aqua feed plant in Kenya, nearly doubling its annual output as it bets on the rapid growth of aquaculture in East Africa. The newly commissioned facility lifts production capacity from 24,000 metric tonnes to 45,000 metric tonnes per year, strengthening the company’s ability to meet rising demand for quality fish feed across the region. The plant will supply Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, and is set to enhance feed consistency, improve affordability and stabilize supply for farmers
