A section of members of parliament allied to the Azimio coalition and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have sustained their criticism of President William Ruto's government, for alleged regional segregation in presidential appointments. Speaking during a funeral service at Kebirigo central SDA Church in West Mugirango Constituency Nyamira County, West Mugirango MP Steve Mogaka and his manyatta counterpart John Mukunji called out President William Ruto for sidelining the gusii region after joining hands with opposition leader Raila Odinga.
