Confirming the incident, the Kikuyu Sub-County Police Commander Joseph Ndege said the two victims, who are sisters, were attempting to cross the highway at an undesignated spot when the accident occurred. He urged pedestrians and road users to exercise caution and use safe areas to cross the busy highway.
