Uasu and Kusu condemn retrenchment of their members by Moi university

https://nation.africa/ The Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU) and the Kenya Universities Staff Union (KUSU), including the Moi University chapter and national officials, have strongly condemned the retrenchment of their members by Moi University last week. They insisted that the university management did not consult them before issuing a memo to retrench 892 members of staff from the institution. Furthermore, they claim that they do not understand the criteria used to compile the list.
