UDA holds repeat grassroots elections in 18 counties, Kindiki hails exercise as fair

    The UDA party has conducted repeat grassroots elections in 18 counties, selecting party representatives in about 9,000 polling stations. The exercise attracted over 500,000 candidates. Deputy Party Leader and Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki says the elections were free, fair and critical to strengthening the party’s grassroots structures, although minor technical glitches were reported in some counties
