Unemployment among the youth has been termed as the biggest threat to political and social stability in Kenya. National Council for population and development Director General Dr Mohamed Sheikh says, about 800,000 youth are entering the job market annually with a majority lacking placement in the labour market. Sheikh says this has to be addressed if the country is to realize the much needed stability that will create an enabling environment for growth.
