The National Police Service Commission has announced a salary increment for police officers across various ranks in a move aimed at improving their welfare in the service According to Commission’s Chairperson Eluid Kinuthia the police constables' salaries at entry level will now be 25,645 shillings from 21,645 shillings. Longest serving police constables will now earn 69,640 shillings from 50,145 shillings. The commission additionally, assured police officers deployed to Haiti of its commitment to improving their working conditions amidst concerns over delayed salary payments for the officers
