A first-of-its-kind mental illness and recovery facility has been opened at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital to help patients suffering from the condition drawn from the larger Rift Valley and Western regions. The facility built with the support of foreign donors will not only help patients recovering from mental illness but will give them skills to facilitate their reintegration back into society.
