- Visitor arrivals in Kenya dropped by 72 percent in the ten months to October this year as Covid-19 restrictions battered the global tourism sector. The Ministry of wildlife and Tourism says between January and October, 471 thousand international tourists visited Kenya from 1.7 million in the corresponding period in 2019. The period of April to July was the worst hit, where the country registered flat arrivals.
