Vita vyakosesha watu milioni 6.5 makazi Sudan
Mazungumzo yaliyosimamiwa na Saudi Arabia na Marekani yanayo lenga kusitisha mapigano kati ya pande zinazo zozana nchini Sudan yamekwama tena huku jeshi la nchi hiyo na Vikosi vya RSF wakiendelea na kampeni za kijeshi ambazo zimesababisha mgogoro mkubwa wa kibinadamu.
Kukosekana kwa hatua zilizosonga mbele kwenye mazungumzo ya Jeddah kumezima matumaini ya kutatuliwa kwa mzozo ambao umewakosesha makazi zaidi ya watu milioni 6.5 ndani na nje ya Sudan, kudhoofisha uchumi, na kusababisha mauaji ya kikabila huko Darfur.
Jeshi la Sudan limeongeza mashambulizi yake na wakaazi wanasema limezidisha mashambulizi ya anga katika mji mkuu Khartoum, wakati mpinzani wake, vikosi vya RSF, vikipiga hatua katika mikoa ya Darfur na Kordofan.
Wakazi wa Omdurman, mji unaopakana na Khartoum ambako wapinzani wanapigana kwa ajili ya kambi za jeshi, wameelezea kuwa wanajeshi Wanarusha mizinga kwa fujo, na mara nyingi inatua katika makazi ya raia.
