Wajir county hosted more than 500 delegates drawn from 15 counties during the Pastoralist Leadership Summit with its Governor Ahmed Abdullahi, Chairman of Council of Governors, saying the pastoralist community summit has given the county much to reflect on and numerous opportunities to seize. Its well-developed infrastructure, including hotels, logistical support, an airport, and regular flights to Nairobi, has positioned the county to cater for both local and international entries.
