It was a rare scene at the Malindi Sub-County hospital after mother and son reunited after they were rescued from the jaws of death deep inside the Shakahola forest. 40-year-old Catherine Wanjiru was rescued 20km away from where she has been living in Shakahola for more than three years while fasting and praying following the teachings of controversial Pastor Paul Mackenzie.
