Washukiwa 51 wakiwemo watoto wanaohusishwa na ghasia jimbo la Plateau wakamatwa
Polisi nchini Nigeria katika jimbo la Plateau, Nigeria waliwapanga mstari washukiwa 51 kati yao watoto wanaotuhumiwa kusababisha ghasia wakati wa maandamano ya hivi karibuni yaliyofanyika katika majimbo kadhaa hususan upande wa kaskazini mwa nchi.
Vijana wengi walimiminika mitaani wiki iliyopita Alhamisi katika miji mikubwa kupinga hali ngumu ya uchumi na ukosefu wa usalama.
Serikali ilisema maandamano katika majimbo mengi ikiwemo la Plateau yalitekwa nyara na kile vyombo vya usalama walichokielezea ni magenge ya wahuni ambao wanadaiwa kuiba na kuharibu mali za serikali na watu binafsi.
Baadhi ya washukiwa waliokamatwa na kufikishwa Mahakama Kuu ya jimbo wanakabiliwa na mashtaka yanayo husiana na kupeperusha bendera za Russia wakati wa maandamano.
“Ninatoa onyo kali kwa wale wote wanaofanya ghasia na maadui wa jimbo tafadhali waondoke na kuliacha jimbo la Plateau.”
Msemaji wa Kituo cha Polisi Jimbo la Plateau, Naibu Mkuu wa Polisi, Alfred Alabo aliiambia VOA.
Shirika la Amnesty International limeishutumu mamlaka kwa kutumia nguvu na hata risasi za moto kuvunja maandamano yaliyopangwa kumalizika Jumamosi.
