Water levels in Kenya’s biggest dam, Masinga Dam, in Machakos county have reached alarming levels, with the Energy Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir saying the dam could start overflowing into River Tana within a week thereby causing serious floods downstream. The CS has advised those living along River Tana to immediately seek alternative higher grounds.
