Wheat farmers across the country took to the streets to protest what they claimed was the flooding of the local market with imported wheat. The farmers who lamented the lack of a market for their produce said that it sold below the agreed price. They are now calling on the Government to regulate wheat importation volumes to ensure they have enough market for their produce.
