Witness claims rangers assaulted fishermen in Odhiambo case

A witness in the ongoing case of the missing fisherman Brian Odhiambo told the court that Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) rangers allegedly assaulted and injured at least six other fishermen on the same day Odhiambo disappeared. The witness, who is serving four years in jail for illegal fishing, testified before Principal Magistrate Kipkurui Kibelion that the rangers threatened to beat him if he attempted to intervene. Rono testified against six rangers charged with Odhiambo’s abduction.
