No woman in Kenya holds top business position such as Chief Executive Officer in any media company. This is according to the 2022 women in news leadership mapping. However, 33% of women in media in Kenya occupy editorial lead positions. Media houses have therefore been challenged to ensure more women ascend to decision making positions.
