The government has cautioned individuals against frustrating efforts to complete construction of a meter gauge rail to connect the standard gauge railway from Miritini, Jomvu Constituency and the Central Business District of Mombasa. Transport Principal Secretary Mohammed Daghar who was in Mombasa says the project estimated at a cost of 9.1 billion shillings had stalled following its launch in September last year owing to land squabbles and a court case.
