Yatta teachers shut down KNUT branch offices over disputed leadership

Teachers in Yatta constituency have shut down the Kenya national union of teachers branch offices in Kithimani, protesting disputed leadership and demanding the removal of their branch secretary, who they claim is no longer a teacher and illegally oversaw the recent election while failing to represent their interests.
