More than 400 Coast youths have benefitted from the Aga Khan Foundation Human Centred Design (HCD) business training to boost their businesses.
The foundation has been training the youths to engage in small-scale businesses and thereafter get funding to boost their trade.
Speaking during the first cohort training in Mombasa, the youths lauded the initiative saying it will boost their businesses.
“I applied for this opportunity and I am glad I am among the beneficiaries. This opportunity has helped me cushion my business idea. In case of any pandemic, I will know how to maneuver after this skills empowerment program. I can now cushion my business from any shocks,” said Mohammed Suleiman.
