Zaidi ya watoto 400 wenye umri miaka 14 waandikishwa na watendaji wenye silaha
Zaidi ya Watoto 400 mashariki mwa DRC waliandikishwa na watendaji wenye silaha Januari na February mwaka huu huku wengine wakiwa na umri wa miaka 14 na wengine walichukuliwa kutoka kwenye shule na mitaani na kuwekwa katika hatari ya ghasia , shirika la save the children limesema na kunukuu katika tovuti yake.
Wafanyakazi wa ndani wa save the children walioko katika ulinzi wa Watoto kaskazini na kusini mwa jimbo la Kivu waliandika kesi mpya zaidi ya 400 kukiwa na makundi yenye silaha baina ya mwezi January na February mwaka 2025, wakati ghasia zilizozuka mashariki mwa nchi.
Baadhi ya watoto wanaripotiwa kuchukuliwa kutoka kwenye jumuiya zao na kupelekwa kwenye misitu kwa ajili ya kupatiwa mafunzo jinsi ya kutumia silaha bila matakwa yao.
Save the children inatoa msaada kwa watoto ambao wameachiliwa kutoka makundi yenye silaha . Mwaka 2024 kundi hilo lilisaidia takriban watoto 220 ambao awali walijihusisha na makundi yenye silaha katika majimbo ya Ituri , Kivu kaskazini na Kivu Kusini.
Watoto hawa wanapatiwa mafunzo ya kisaikolojia na msaada wa kiuchumi kwa ajili ya kuwawezesha kurejea kwenye jumuiya zao.
