Hong Kong high-rise fire kills at least four and injures several

    At least four people, including a firefighter, have died after a massive blaze swept through multiple high-rise residential buildings at Wang Fuk Court in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The fire, which began at 2:51 pm local time, spread rapidly through bamboo scaffolding on the exterior of the towers, trapping residents inside and triggering a large-scale emergency response. Several individuals were rushed to hospital, with two reported in critical condition.
