    A section of leaders from Garissa county are demanding speedy investigations into the death of a 25 year old taxi driver who died early Tuesday morning under unclear circumstances. The leaders led by Garissa town member of parliament Major retired Dekow Mohamed allege that the 25 year old Sheikh Ahmed Omar was shot dead by officers from the Rapid Deployment Unit station at Modika who were manning a roadblock along the Nunow – Modogashe road. The leaders further accuse the officers of trying to cover up the killing.
